关系子句

某些语言中由关系代词或关系副词所引导的子句，通常充当定语成分。如英语He is a man whom everybody respects （他是一个大家都尊敬的人）句中的whom everybody respects, 又如This is the place where he was born （这是他出生的地方）句中的where he was born等。有的语法学家认为汉语中也有关系子句。
